Why I Left My Job- November 2017 Newsletter
April 14, 2018 @ 8:30 AM by: Lee-Ann

Thank you very much for taking the time to read my newsletter and to join me on this journey. My name is Lee-Ann and I have a passion in my heart to inspire women to live full, taking charge of their passion and reach their potential achieving their goals and desires.

Call of Passion
So where does my journey start…
You know that tugging on your heartstrings and continual thoughts on what you are not doing right now, “it's your passion calling”. This is always the best place to start.
For years I had these moments of what if I leave my corporate job to follow my passion. I don’t hate what I do but I definitely don’t love it. Are we supposed to love what we do? I was stuck in the 9-5 mindset with a free spirit burning inside me. Tug of War! Should I leave my job and follow my passion? Nope, just change my job, that will settle the rumbling free spirit. And change my job I did – new company same field more responsibility and more authority.

Thank You, Keep Stepping
Each job I move to I performed extremely well, but the appreciation was greatly lacking, and the encouragement or support was nonexistent. Finally, I realized that the only way to truly receive the satisfaction from my skills, hard work, and heart was to gracefully step away.
I left a very lucrative position. Don't get me wrong, there's definitely no such thing as a perfect job and I know this. This is not a 'I hate my job' rant. This is a thank you to my past employers for helping me to make the decision to become the best of who I am designed to be. It took all that was thrown at me good, bad, ugly, and self-serving I took those things that one would call dirty and turned them into decision to follow my passion. Every day since I left my job I have not looked back or questioned my decision; I didn’t just change my job, I leaped out on faith and decided it was time to follow my heart, take control of my health, and share my being with others.

Yes, You Can

I know there are many others out there who are on the bandwagon to help others heal or get well, so what makes me different? I shoot from the hip but it’s filled with heart. You will find that I keep it so real that when I don’t feel like jumping up and doing my day…I will tell you, but then I do get up and keep going because what is my alternative? I would not be living up to my unlimited potential. I could stay in my bed, with my mind racing watching the world completely pass me by – but then what decision to move toward my passion have I made? My hope and plan is to be healed mentally, physically, soulfully, and spiritually. To me, these elements of life must be in balance, although it seems like you are working on one part at a time you are actually helping the other pieces of your puzzle while bringing one back into the mix.
Come make the decision for yourself and see that you will find real talk is what drives you to the greatness in you. You are your own limit!!!

With Heart and Spirit,
